The Invergordon Mural Trail was officially launched by Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal on the 4th September 2007.  A huge honour for Invergordon, all the local people involved in the project and the dedicated team co-ordinating the mural trail.

For this event nearly 200 people were security checked, all who had played a direct role in the murals.  This shows the depth of involvement by local people.

At each mural, an Off the Wall committee member welcomed Her Royal Highness and then introduced her to a member of the community group involved with that mural.  They in turn introduced her to each of the community group members and the other participants involved in the creation of that mural.

It made for a more complex event but it meant that everyone involved had a chance to meet Her Royal Highness the Princess Royal.  Her Lady in Waiting told us that it was one of the best organised events they had ever attended!
